Watch Friends Online in 2020 without Netflix?

F.R.I.E.N.D.S is the most popular TV show and even after decades, it has been viewed by millions of fans. Netflix was the easiest source to watch Friends until now, but December 31st was the last day to stream the show. As of Wednesday, January 1, 2020, Friends TV series won’t be available to stream on Netflix in the US and other major regions.

Even though it generates a lot of subscribers for the streaming giant, they had no option as the producers WarnerMedia removed the extension contract. HBO Max, the upcoming streaming service from Warner Bros will be the new home of Friends, but it won’t be out until May 2020. Here is how you can watch Friends in the first few months of 2020 without Netflix.

FRIENDS Stream Online, DVD and Cable Channels

Friends Netflix alternative for streaming online could be a hard thing to find as the show has been a major hit and the royalty charges are too high. The best way is to get a full set of Friends DVD collection and forget worrying about who holds the right and which service collapses.

Amazon and iTunes both offer to buy and rent Friends DVD and you can stock them up to see Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey daily. Apart from that, DirecTV and Sling allow users to stream Friends after it has aired on certain channels. Based on your locality, you can even look up to the cable channels that airs episodes of Friends daily.

HBO Max will be the new home of Friends along with other WB shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, and even Sesame Street.
