The Matrix 4 rumors have been surfacing online with the movie getting closer to filming and new details about the plot have been revealed. As per the latest report, Lambert Wilson is in talks with the Warner Bros studio executives to reprise his role as ‘The Merovingian.’ Wilson originally appeared in “Matrix: Reloaded” and “Matrix: Revolutions” as the character who played from both sides.
The Merovingian is one of the oldest programs in the Matrix system who has a lot of followers and special information about everything. There are rumors that Merovingian will be the one in ‘The Matrix 4’ who will bring back Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) back into Matrix program after the machines were destroyed in the last movie.

Lambert Wilson is rumored to reprise his role as the villain Merovingian who is one of the oldest programs in Matrix and wanted to take place of the Oracle. It has been speculated that Merovingian keeps the program and data deleted from Matrix source code, which is why he has the ability to bring back dead characters. He will use the same to bring all the previous characters along with the new cast members in ‘The Matrix 4’ storyline and will play a crucial role in the story.
