There are certain specs leaked for PS5 and Xbox X from someone who works at AMD through data stored on GitHub. PS5 and Xbox Series X leaks show that the Microsoft gaming console will be way more powerful than the Sony machine.

- CPU: Eight AMD Zen 2 Cores with SMT
- Bandwidth: GDDR6 memory with a rated bandwidth of 448GB/s and 512GB/s.
- GPU: 36 Navi compute units running at 2.0GHz
- Memory: 9.2 teraflop
- Backward Compatibility: PS4 and PS4 Pro
Xbox Series X Leaked Specs
- CPU: Eight AMD Zen 2 Cores with SMT
- Bandwidth: GDDR6 with bandwidth rated at 560GB/s.
- GPU: 56 Navi compute units running at 1700MHz
- Memory: 12.2-teraflop
- Graphics Card: Powerful than PS5
PS5 vs Xbox Series X Comparison and Release Date
Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X leaks may show similar specs but the devil is in the details and it shows that GPU of Microsoft console(12.2 Teraflop) is way more powerful than the one in Sony(9.2 Teraflop). It also means that the prices of the Xbox Series X console will also remain higher than the PlayStation.

Sony is expected to release the PlayStation 5 in November or December 2020 whereas Microsoft has already announced that Xbox Series X will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2020. At this point, PS5 vs Xbox Series X comparison is in favor of Microsoft, but the leaked specs could be different from the actual machines and will only be confirmed when official details on the gaming consoles are out.
