Memphis Grizzlies are doing good in the current NBA season and yet they are looking to trade out their players for balancing the cap space and roster age. The Grizzlies are at the No. 8 spot in the deep NBA Western Conference with almost no chances against teams like Lakers, Clippers and Rockets. It is why the Grizzlies are expected to be active sellers before the 2020 NBA February trade deadline.

Jae Crowder, the veteran small forward is the latest name in Memphis to be put on the trade block and they could make a deal with Los Angeles Lakers for Kyle Kuzma. The Grizzlies could send Jae Crowder to the Lakers in exchange for Kuzma and Avery Bradley which works as per the NBA trade machine.
Jae Crowder will Help in Lakers Defense
Jae Crowder could help the Lakers in doubling down their defense and take the load off from the shoulders of Anthony Davis and LeBron James. He can easily guard any player on every corner of the floor and it would keep the other stars free from stopping the opposition’s top forward. Crowder is playing amazing this season, averaging a career-high 3.0 assists.

While his three-point percentage is only 32.4 but he makes it up by having 5.6 attempts per game and can improve further in the Lakers. The purple and gold are going all out to win the NBA title this year and having an experienced star like Jae Crowder play along with James-Davis duo will surely help.
Kyle Kuzma Fits in Grizzlies Pefectly
The Grizzlies have to take the risk of trading out Jae Crowder despite his recent on-court success because there is a chance they may not get anything in return if they wait for the free agency. Kyle Kuzma is a much better option for Memphis as they get a young guard and don’t have to worry about the expiring contract of Crowder.

Kuzma is just 24 years old and fits perfectly along with Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. in the Grizzlies franchise. Also, having Avery Bradley in the team would provide an experienced veteran in their locker room to keep things cool.
