Karl-Anthony Towns could very soon be on his way out from the Minnesota Timberwolves as the NBA trade deadline approaches. The Wolves has failed badly in the 2019-20 NBA season and Towns would like to play for a better team that has a shot at the title this season or could at least make its way to playoffs.

New York Knicks is already monitoring Karl-Anthony Towns and the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors have also started the same. Towns would most likely avoid the Knicks as they are at the bottom points table and have no future this season. The Celtics or Warriors could easily sign the Wolves center Karl-Anthony Towns before the 2020 February trade deadline.
Karl-Anthony Trade Deal with Boston Celtics
Boston Celtics team is doing great in the current NBA season but they surely need a big guy to contend for the title. Karl-Anthony Towns is very expensive and is currently in the first season of his $158.3 million contract extension.
The Celtics would have to give a package of Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward, Carsen Edwards, Robert Williams III, and a 2020 first-round pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves in order to make a trade deal happen. In return, the Boston team could ask for KAT and another big man Gorgui Dieng which sounds like a fair deal.
Karl-Anthony Trade Deal with Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors were struggling in the first few games losing badly but they could set get back on track as D’Angelo Russell is doing an amazing. It is why the Warriors are monitoring Karl-Anthony Towns and are planning to sign him before the trade deadline.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Karl Anthony Towns to the Golden State Warriors in deal for Draymond Green, Eric Paschall, Kevon Looney, and multiple first round picks, league sources tell ESPN.

While it would be hard to match his salary, the Warriors could offer Draymond Green, Eric Paschall, Kevon Looney, and multiple first round picks. The Warriors could also move out D’Angelo Russell to the T-wolves and make the deal happen. Although, the Timberwolves want Russell and Towns to play together in their team and it can complicate things for the Warriors.
