Tristan Thompson could be the next player to be traded out of Cleveland Cavaliers after they dealt Jordan Clarkson to the Utah Jazz for Dante Exum last Monday. Kevin Love is already in talks for moving out of Cavaliers and even Thompson could join a new team before the NBA 2020 February trade deadline.
Thompson could easily help any of the playoff contenders with his amazing form, workout, and dedication, without putting much load on the contract amount. The Cavs would most likely ask for a first-round draft pick in exchange to trade out Tristan Thompson before the February 6 deadline.
Tristan Thompson is Generating Plenty of Interest
Thompson has been doing great this season, giving out his best efforts at every stage of the game. He has been going hard in practice, pregame warmups, walkthroughs, trying to set a positive example for his young teammates. The 28-year-old power forward/center has been playing with an average of 12.8 points and 10.1 rebounds for the Cavaliers this season.

Every NBA team is on the lookout for upgrades and reinforcements, where Tristan Thompson is generating a lot of interest. Even Thompson knows the fact and he has been putting maximum effort these days so he can play for an NBA team which have a chance to lift the title trophy.
Will Cavaliers deal Thompson if they reach Playoffs?
Cleveland Cavaliers have seen some performances from Thompson where he was one of the key players that helped the team win four Eastern Conference championship from 2015 to 2018. The Cavs are currently at 10-22 record and 12th position in the NBA East but given the less competition, it won’t be that hard to come back and make a spot in playoffs.
Also, there are chances that the Cavaliers trade out Kevin Love and get some good players which can turn the tide in the second half. NBA trade deadline will be over on February 6, 3 pm EST and the Cavs will try to make it into 8th spot or trade out Thompson if they fail.
