Shrek 5 first look has been teased by the creators at Dreamworks and more details are expected to come out in the next year. While many fans have lost patience over the next Shrek movie, it is happening in the form of a reboot. Shrek 5 Design Changes and New Story
Shrek 5 will be a totally changed movie from the previous iterations because it won’t be a traditional sequel and the producers have decided to totally reboot the franchise. It simply means that Shrek 4 storyline story won’t be continued any further and if rumors are to believed, the next Shrek movie will be set around many years in the future with various new characters introduced.
Michael McCullers has been hired by Dreamworks as a writer to give a fresh take on the Shrek franchise. Even though some characters might remain the same in the Shrek reboot, they will get several design changes to make it look different. It has been a decade since the last Shrek movie released and Shrek 5 will ponder to the current audience and use the latest animation technology.
