Los Angeles Lakers have ended the 4-game losing streak after beating the Dallas Mavericks and maintains the top spot in NBA Western Conference. But they still need some upgrades in their roster and with February 2020 deadline coming up, a lot of offers are already coming up for their players. Kyle Kuzma could have been the third superstar in Lakers after LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but he failed to deliver and looks like he could be on the trading block soon.
In 25 years watching basketball I have not seen a player more overrated than Kyle Kuzma

There are many NBA teams linked with Kuzma’s name and Chicago Bulls could be one of them. As per the NBA reports, Bulls have offered a trade package of Otto Porter Jr., Kris Dunn & Chandler Hutchison for Kyle Kuzma, but the Lakers would wait till the end of February deadline to see if they could get something better.
Kyle Kuzma has Better Future in Chicago Bulls
Kyle Kuzma could prove to be a much better fit for the Chicago Bulls and add to their core of young talents like Lauri Markkanen, Zach Lavine, and Wendell Carter Jr. There is no doubt Kuzma is a great performer, but his numbers have gone down after the first two seasons with the Lakers.

What Kyle needs right now is a team that could give him the starter position and a more important role on the offensive side of the floor. It would improve his performance and Kuzma could become an actual NBA superstar by playing for Bulls. The 24-year-old 6-foot-8 power forward needs to unlock his full potential and for that the shift from Los Angeles to Chicago is necessary.
Will Lakers Trade Out Kyle Kuzma?
Chicago Bulls would easily send out a trade package of Otto Porter Jr., Kris Dunn, and Chandler Hutchison to get Kyle Kuzma from Lakers. But whether the LA team accepts the deal or not is a different thing. Porter Jr. is currently injured and aside from absorbing his contract, the player has nothing much to offer.
Dunn and Hutchison are young prospects which the Lakers would not want as they are winning easily. The Lakers do want to move out Kuzma, but they would wait for more time and look for better players in return. NBA trade deadline hits on February 6, 3 pm EST and it gives Lakers enough time to get better trade deals.
