Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom Wedding Rumours: Couple to have Marriage after having a Baby

Katy Perry was set to marry her fiance of 4 years, Orlando Bloom, around March. But then, the coronavirus saga began and all weddings this year went to the back burner. Likewise, even Perry and Bloom had to postpone their big day.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Are Having A Destination Wedding?

Nevertheless, gossip mongers wouldn’t stay down. Numerous accounts of the star couple’s supposed wedding ceremonies cropped up. Some wild theories had suggested that the pair had eloped to Prague. As a matter of fact, the duo was indeed in the Czech Republic. But that was just a casual trip. At that time, the two weren’t even considering marriage. They were merely dating, back then.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star proposed to the singer on Valentine’s Day, last year. And since then their wedding, rumours have been astonishingly untamed. There was a story that they wanted a huge event, and that they were intending to ask Kanye West to officiate their marriage. In reality, Perry and Bloom had recently attended one of West’s Sunday Services, then. And that gave rise to such outrageous claims that West is to pronounce the couple, man and wife.

In another such claim, a destination wedding was to take place in Egypt. And this time around, Kanye wasn’t in the picture. The ceremony was to be done in the shadows of the pyramids. The singer, the actor and a small group of friends had just taken a 10-day cruise on the Nile. I Kissed A Girl singer married her first husband, Russell Brand, in India. That would make such gossip believable for fans. But the truth is quite far from it.

Posted @withregram • @unicef Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.⠀ ⠀ “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Katy and Orlando told us.⠀ ⠀ “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.⠀ ⠀ “As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare. In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your ♥ can bloom with generosity.⠀ ⠀ Gratefully-⠀ ⠀ Katy & Orlando.”⠀ ⠀ Please tap the link in our bio to support the most precious gift: a healthy child.

What Are Their Marriage Plans Then?

For now, wedding bells are the last thing on the couple’s mind. They don’t seem worried about it. In August this year, the singer gave birth to their first kid. A baby girl they named Daisy Dove Bloom. For now, the couple is simply focussed on their baby and their work. Marriage will have to wait.
