Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series will bring back Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker from the Star Wars prequel. The future Darth Vader was once a simple Jedi trainee but things changed when his love Padme was killed and he turned to the dark side. Anakin is a very important character in the story that also influences the journey of Kenobi and his relation with Luke Skywalker.
Apart from that, it is also expected that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be connected to “The Mandalorian” as both exist in the same Star Wars Universe. There are several characters such as Ahsoka who will be a part of both Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Mandalorian series. Here are more details on Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series release date, plot spoilers, trailer, storyline and cast updates.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will have Hayden Christessen return as Anakin Skywalker

Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series will be based on the “Star Wars: Clone Wars” storyline where the young Jedi Anakin fought alongside his Master Kenobi. Christensen is rumored to join Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan) in the untitled Disney plus prequel based on the life of Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

While the storyline will take place after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, there will be several flashbacks to the time Anakin was fighting in the Clone Wars. It might be possible that Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place over multiple timelines as McGregor looks young enough to play the character at every stage.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Mandalorian connection Confirmed

Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Mandalorian connection is also confirmed with the casting of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano in the second season. It might explore the origins of lightsaber and Ahsoka is the only character that can be present in both the series. Fans are also hoping to see Obi-Wan and Mando together as both the characters were active at the same time.
