GTA 6 Release Date And The Impending Mystery of its Delay

What makes GTA so addictive is the reckless violence, countless heists, other small missions on the side. A rumored follow up to GTA V, GTA VI is early in development. GTA 6 was announced soon after Rockstar came out with Red Dead Redemption 2, i.e. on 26^th October, 2018.

GTA 6 is returning to the Miami-inspired Vice City based on a consensus by the developers after the past two GTA games were set in San Andreas and Liberty City. Codenamed Project Americas, GTA 6 is rumored to be set somewhere in the middle of 1970s and 1980s. The involvement of the main character in drug trade will be the central feature of GTA 6 as it may feature drug empire characters inspired by Vice City. The game is said to be set during a specified era and the possibility of flashback missions remains.

GTA has been around for a over 22 years, the first GTA game released on 21^st October, 1997. The big change coming up in GTA 6 is that Rockstar may break the tradition and feature a female protagonist, thereby making GTA 6 the first such game in the franchise.

New Locations in GTA 6

GTA 6 is expected to be set across several big cities and the players will be able to travel and to and from these cities. The cities expected to feature as Vice City, Los Santos, and Liberty City as per a review posted by a Rockstar Games employee on Glassdoor. The report also included what appears to be a code of sorts: “GTA6LSVCLC.”

GTA 6: Date of Launch

No official announcements have been made regarding the release date. But fans have made some speculations and came up with a release date falling somewhere in 2021/2022. We will keep this area updated for official launch date announcements.
