Coronavirus has affected the USA badly with the highest number of cases and death, which could even get worse. As per the latest figures, more than 1.3 million people in America are already found COVID-19 positive and 77,000+ deaths have been reported. Meanwhile, Trump and most of the US citizens are so much focused on saving the economy, the coronavirus situation is getting out of control.
There is a new White House model which predicts that there could be more death in the United States of America due to the Coronavirus outbreak. To make the matter worse, the Coronavirus will also lead to a secondary pandemic by creating famine and unemployment.
New Model predicts higher number of Coronavirus Deaths
The White House model for coronavirus pandemic has been revised by the creators over the latest reports of relaxed social distancing measures. It is now expected that there could be around 135,000 deaths due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The model created by the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation has predicted that there will be more COVID-19 deaths in the US.
Most of the States have removed restrictions from their stay at home orders, some of them are planning to reopen soon. While the non-essential business establishments in New York, which is the hardest-hit state will open after May 15.
Coronavirus will lead to a Secondary Pandemic
Coronavirus pandemic will come under control in some time, but the after-effects will be long-lasting and dangerous. As per the World Food Program reports, coronavirus could lead to a secondary global pandemic which will increase starvation and poverty all over the world. There could be a massive famine across the developing world as per the UN Security council. The economic fallout due to the coronavirus pandemic response could even take more lives than the COVID-19 outbreak.
