NBA Rumors: Kyle Kuzma Trade Deal with Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder

Kyle Kuzma has been put on the trade block by the Los Angeles Lakers and the 24-year-old could finally be out on his way. Even though Kuzma is having a breakthrough season with the Lakers, his numbers aren’t that impressive and he doesn’t fit anymore with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

It is why the Lakers have decided to offload Kuzma and get in trade assets for the future in exchange, but are being very picky. Here are the rumors of Kyle Kuzma’s trade deal with Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder before the 2020 NBA February trade deadline.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers are trading out Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson in the trade deadline and there are rumors that one of them could end up in Lakers. LeBron James and Kevin Love duo have a lot of experience in playing together and have even won one NBA title for the Cavaliers. They could easily sign Kyle Kuzma without giving out any assets and the Lakers would be happy to pair LeBron-Kevin once again.

Detroit Pistons

Detroit Pistons are holding off several veteran players who have high demand in the NBA trade market. The Lakers have high chances of winning the NBA 2019-20 season title and they would surely need experienced players, which is why the Pistons could send out Andre Drummond to get Kyle Kuzma from them. Kuzma is just 24 years old and would balance the Detroit team as a young forward.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder is one of those teams in the current NBA season who will unload a lot of players and get rich in draft assets. It is why OKC could sign Kyle Kuzma who will be a great addition to the attacking side of the team. Even the Lakers are interested in several players from the Thunder side and hence a trade deal for Kuzma could easily happen.
