Now You See Me 3 was released three years ago and fans have been waiting for the third sequel ever since. Lionsgate, the production studio has confirmed that ‘Now You See Me 3’ is in the pipeline, but the information about the movie is almost nonexistent. The last details about the movie are that writer duo Neil Widener and Gavin James were hired to write a screenplay and some rumors say that they are in the final stages of their work.

It means that ‘Now You See Me 3’ is still in pre-production where works such as scripts, set designs, principal photography, etc. are done and very soon filming will start. Once the actual shooting starts with the actors, the movie will enter post-production where VFX, special effects, dubbing and other such process are carried out and after that, it will release in theaters. Since the first two movies earned over $686 million over a budget of $165 million, there is no way producers shy away from making Now You See Me 3 and it will be hugely profitable.

As for the plot of the third movie, there are some rumors claiming that Benedict Cumberbatch will be introduced as a rival magician who gives the four horsemen a run for their money. It will also give more details on ‘The Eye’ and the mystery regarding the death of Lionel Shrike may finally be solved in Now You See Me 3.
