Aquaman 2 Release Date and Trailer
Aquaman 2 is set to release on December 16, 2022, and filming will start probably from the next year. It would be four years for the sequel as the first Aquaman movie came out in 2018. James Wan revealed that he is still working on the script and would give it time and they are currently discussing ideas regarding the movie. Aquaman 2 trailer could possibly come out during 2021 comic con, similar to the first movie trailer.

Aquaman 2 Cast and Plot Details
Aquaman 2 cast will have most of the actors returning and some new members joining which will be revealed soon. Here is the currently confirmed cast list for Aquaman sequel.

Will Black Manta be the Main Villain in Aquaman Sequel?
Aquaman movie had Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta in the side villain role who was also shown in the post credits scene meeting with the character of Dr. Sheen played by Randall Park. James Wan has hinted that he has big plans for Black Manta and he could be the main villain in Aquaman 2 for the first half, where a new evil character could be introduced for the final battle in Aquaman sequel.
