Andre Drummond is doing great in an otherwise average Detroit Pistons team who are at 12-20 with almost zero chance of reaching the NBA playoffs. The Pistons are sitting at 11th seed in the East Conference and will most probably rebuild their roster by trading out players in the NBA February deadline.
When you look back at Andre Drummond’s tenure with Detroit, tonight’s lineup is more rule than exception. The franchise has failed him.

Drummond, the main franchise player in Detroit is all set to become a free agent and he would most likely decline his player option. There are a lot of teams ready to sign up Andre Drummond and here are the rumors rounded up for Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets.
Dallas Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks with the help of Luka Doncic are at 19-10 record for the current NBA season. The strategy to trust their older player and re-signing them played off very well but they would someone like Andre Drummond for the big games in playoffs. Drummond would improve and take the pressure off from Luka and Kristaps Porzingis for the rest of the season.
The Mavericks doesn’t have many assets but they could offer a package of Courtney Lee, Jalen Brunson, Justin Jackson, and a 2nd round pick to the Pistons and sign Andre Drummond in their team.
Boston Celtics
Boston Celtics are doing really well and are at the 2nd spot in NBA Western Conference for this season. While there is not much competition in the East, things would get tough for the title and playoffs games and Andre Drummond could prove to be very useful in such a situation.
The potential trade deal between Celtics and Pistons would require a package of Gordon Hayward, Daniel Theis, and a future first-round pick in exchange for Andre Drummond.
Sacramento Kings
Sacramento Kings have recovered well in the NBA 2019-20 season and even after injuries to De’Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley, they are just 1.5 games behind the 8th seed. Andre Drummond could really make a difference and if the Kings trade for him, they could reach the NBA playoffs for the first time since the year 2006.
The Sacramento Kings could send a package of Trevor Ariza, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Harry Giles, and a future 2nd round pick to the Pistons in exchange for Andre Drummond as the trade deadline approaches.
Charlotte Hornets
Charlotte Hornets surprised everyone in this NBA season and instead of laying at the bottom, they are just 1.5 games out of the 8th seed. Devonte’ Graham is doing great for the Hornets and if they want to make it to the playoffs, Andre Drummond will be their ideal choice and add a lot of depth to the team.
It would cost the Hornets a package of Malik Monk, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Bismack Biyombo, and a future 2nd round pick to convince the Pistons to give them Andre Drummond before the NBA trade deadline period.
