Justice has finally prevailed after Cyntoia Brown was released out of jail after spending 15 years of her life sentence. Cyntoia Brown was a victim of sex trafficking and was convicted of killing real estate agent Johnny Allen in 2004.
The 31-year old was forced to have sex by Allen when she shot Allen at the back of his head. Allen died on the spot and Cyntoia Brown was convicted for robbing him after she fled with his truck.

Cyntoia Brown was just 16 when Allen grabbed her for sex and pulled her into sex trafficking. Brown shot Allen and killed him when his picked her up outside a restaurant in Nashville. Cyntoia Brown then fled the scene with 2 rifles and $172 cash in his truck.
Brown was convicted of first-degree murder in 2006 and the court ordered her to serve at least 51 years in jail before parole. Cyntoia Brown was a victim of sex trafficking and was kidnapped by a man called ‘cut throat’ at the time of the incident.
She said he raped and beat her when Allen met her. Allen promised he would help her out of the rut but tried to force himself on her. Because he kept searching out for something inside his bed, Cyntoia Brown reached out for the gun in her purse and shot at him.
“He didn’t deserve to die. I was wrong. I was wrong. And I can’t fix it.”
She fled the scene and prosecutors accused her of stealing money and killing the guy for that.
Kim Kardashian and celebrities to Brown’s recue
Brown’s case got attention from Kim Kardashian and Rihanna among other celebrities. Tenessee gorverner Bill Haslam granted her clemency after celebrities protested for her.

The 31-year old hence walks out of Women Prison after spending 15 year on Wednesday. The decision comes after Haslam’s office was filled with pleas to release Brown.

Brown is now entitled to live a year on parole and without committing any crime. Haslam argued that the sentence for Brown was too harsh and she had enough. In the end, she committed a crime in self defense in her teens.
