Ruiz and Joshua Tried to Find a Neutral Venue for the Rematch
Anthony Joshua vs Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr. was expected to take place at a neutral venue. Although a final announcement is yet to be made, the promoter of Anthony Joshua also confirmed the news.
I know, I think, where the fight is going, but I just have to wait for some paperwork to be tied up and then we’ll make an announcement.”
The last major fight in Saudi Arabia was the very recent Amir Khan vs Billy Dib clash. Although few anticipated Riyadh to be the venue for this one, it provides a good enough neutral venue for Anthony Joshua and Ruiz Jr.
The Brit will undoubtedly put his all in training for the December match-up. And although Ruiz Jr. landed a few lusty blows and was straightaway dominant in the fight, it’s still difficult to decide a favorite. But a lot of fans would still believe Joshua has it in him to win back his lost titles.
