The World Cup winning US Captain, Megan Rapinoe is once again the news over her anti-Donald Trump views. The FIFA golden boot and golden ball winner, Megan Rapinoe is all over the headlines these days. Sadly half of the news is for the wrong reasons for such a charismatic player.
But it totally depends on how you support Trump or condemn him that you love Megan Rapinoe. She is quite unabashed in her comments. And she now has criticized the US President’s tweets in which he criticized 4 black congresswoman on CNN this Saturday.
Megan Rapinoe: What’s this new controversy about ?
Trump once again divided opinions by his tweets on freshman Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. He called out to the women “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places they came.”

The tweets once again put light on Trump’s racist mentality. 3 of the women are from US while one is a refugee who came here in her early teens.
The tweets are met with widespread anguish but there are others who are backing Trump’s stand.

Megan Rapinoe though is known for publicly criticizing the President and she had no soft words this time around.

Megan Rapinoe echoed her views about who she wants to see as US President this time around. She thinks Kamala Harris or Sens. Elizabeth would be the right choice and it’s time for a woman president.
Megan Rapinoe is gaining a lot of popularity through her fearless and decisive stand against Trump. She recently said she’s not going “to the f**ing White House if we won” after she was invited there. Love or hate her, you can’t ignore her for sure.
