Today in this article, we will talk about a person, or we can say a kid because he was still studying in high school, who without thinking about his own life, did something which saved the lives of many but unfortunately he was unable to save himself. What had actually happened?
It is about an incident that took place at STEM School, Highlands Ranch. Where they had recently celebrated their 20thanniversary of the school. But on Tuesday afternoon, when two individuals walked into the school and when they reach deep inside the school, they gathered all the students in two different rooms.
After which, two fires took place which took the life of one student and injured eight others.
The name of the student who is killed in the shooting is named as Kendrick Castillo.
Honouring him
The Douglas County Sheriff said that Kendrick was having such kind of courage in it which they would love to see in their officers. Their office will lead its first procession for a civilian. They said,
We wanted to honour the Castillo family and honour Kendrick.
There will be about 30 motorcycle officers. Hundreds of jeeps will participate in the procession, as Castillo loved the vehicles and off-roading.
Catherine Fanaro said that gathering more number of jeeps in the procession will show that we actually care about him and his family. We all are with the family and they are not alone.
