Space-Internet is not a Myth: SpaceX new 60 satellite launch

Yet another time SpaceX is going to do what people could not have even thought of a few years ago. The race is to build a space internet network and SpaceX is taking a step to do so. SpaceX is ready for the launch of 60 satellites tomorrow. These satellites will perform the first layer of the Starlink constellations. It is, however, a bit complex launch but in the end, it’s all Worth.

A Falcon 9 space vehicle is loaded with the Starlink Satellites. It is scheduled to launch tomorrow at launchpad 40 in Cape Canaveral. Building a satellite constellation is something that many investors and companies want to take part in. But it will require billions of dollars and many years to do so.

Apart, from SpaceX, there are many other companies like OneWeb that has launched 6 satellites of 650 in March. Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos has also announced that Amazon will also join the fray.

Till now SpaceX has not explained exactly how these 60 satellites will be spread in their respective orbits.

Prior to this launch, a pair of two prototype satellites Tintin A and Tintin B has been present in the orbit since last year. The CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk has said that these 60 satellites are the production designs and not the final hardware.

The launch is a test for the starlink constellation

Obviously, it makes no sense because if you are planning to launch thousands of satellites in the near future. So, taking that fact into consideration you need to test with production hardware.

However, the population of the satellites in the orbit is something to be concerned about but many of these satellites will be flying at extremely low altitudes.
